Aqua Classes
Clients can elect to exercise on their own or in small group classes.
The following water classes are offered throughout the day:
Back in Action:Exercises in this class are focused on core muscles (abdominals and back) and are appropriate for those individuals who are post-surgery, who have osteoporosis, or who are new to exercise and would like a fun, safe place to begin.
- Just My Speed:Class focuses on slow,deliberate movements that focus on balance and stability stemming from the core. Strenght training is also incorporated to complete the workout. Great for individuals who are having balance problems.
- Hydrochallenge:A dynamic workout designed to increase muscular endurance, stimulate the aerobic training cycle, & emphasize full range of motion for the physically fit person. Training includes resistance, interval, and endurance training. Class focuses on core stability throughout the workout.
- Aerobics & Core:Workout challenges core stability and introduces new exercises that strengthen and tone. Light aerobic workout is also incorporated into the class for a fun and complete workout session.
- Cardio Sculpt:A 45 min. fitness challenge with an exhilarating cardiovascular workout and abdominal techniques that work using different positions,tempos,range of motion,levers,and equipment.
- Sculpt:Exercises focus on all the major muscle groups(and a few smaller ones you may have forgotten)in this flattening and firming class.
- Balance & Strength/Balance & Sculpt:Improve your posture, increase your balance, and strengthen your core in this unique conditioning class. Highly recommended for seniors, novices, or deconditioned individuals, but challenging for everyone.
- Ai Chi:Class incorporates a combination of deep breathing and slow broad movements of the arms, legs, and torso in flowing continuous patterns. It improves muscle tone, circulation, flexibility, balance, and relaxation. It also increases stability, strength, focus and concentration. Fundamentally Ai-Chi seeks to work and strengthen the "mind and body".
- Le Bed Method:This focus on healing through movement and dance was originally created by a dance movement specialist and two physicians. This program is helpful for those suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome, MS, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. It was specially created for anyone having difficulty with mobility, posture, and energy levels.
- Aqua Spinning:The hydromassage given by the movement of the water hardens legs and buttocks, invigorates arms and abdomen, strengthens heart and lungs. It is an excellent cardio workout with less stress on the back and joints due to the water's buoyancy.
- Hydro-Pilates:Pilates in water develops trunk stabilization, helps correct posture, enhances muscle strength and relieves stress.
